Individual Artists Grants
Three grants of $2,500 each are available to artists interested in creating new work within a community context. These competitive grants are based on the artistic merit of work samples, a strong interface between the community and the creative process, and a clearly defined project. They were created by the New York State Council on the Arts to further meet the needs of artists in our state.
Past projects have helped local artists:
GVCA administers the Individual Artists Grants program and anticipates continued funding for these grants. The application deadline is the third Wednesday in October.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have resided in Livingston County for at least six months before the application deadline, and not be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. They must attend a grant writing/information seminar or consult with the program coordinator before applying. The seminar is free; registration is not required.

Final Report Instructions
To complete this report, you may print it OR save the file to your computer. All final reports require an original signature by the grantee. Once signed, the final report, along with any required attachments, should be submitted to GVCA by mail or hand-delivery only (4 Murray Hill Drive, Mount Morris NY 14510).
